Appeals And Complaints

Due to our commitment to ensuring fairness, transparency, and adherence to the highest standards in the publication process, we at the Jurnal Riset Multidisiplin dan Inovasi Teknologi value feedback from our authors, reviewers, and readers, and take any appeals or complaints seriously. The following process outlines how appeals and complaints will be handled:

Appeals Process for Manuscript Decisions:
If an author disagrees with the decision on their submitted manuscript, they may submit an appeal to the editorial office. The appeal must be based on one or more of the following grounds:

  1. Procedural error: If the author believes that a significant procedural error occurred during the review or editorial process that may have affected the decision.
  2. Misinterpretation of the manuscript: If the author believes that the reviewers or editors misinterpreted the content of the manuscript, leading to an unfair decision.
  3. New evidence: If the author can provide substantial new evidence or corrections that were not considered during the initial evaluation.
Appeals Submission:
Authors who wish to lodge an appeal must do so within 15 days of receiving the decision letter. The appeal should be submitted in writing to the editorial office at contact@risetpress.com. The appeal should include the following information:

  1. Title of the manuscript
  2. Names of the authors
  3. Grounds for the appeal (procedural error, misinterpretation, or new evidence)
  4. A detailed explanation of the reasons for the appeal, including specific points from the reviewers’ and editors’ feedback.
  5. Any new evidence or corrections that the author wishes to present.
Appeals Evaluation:
The appeals will be reviewed by the Editorial Board and, if necessary, external experts who were not involved in the initial decision-making process. The appeal evaluation process will be handled promptly, but the time frame may vary depending on the complexity of the case.

Appeals Decision:
Following the appeals evaluation, the Editorial Board will make a final decision regarding the manuscript. The possible outcomes of the appeal are:

  1. Upholding the original decision: If the appeal does not provide sufficient grounds to overturn the initial decision.
  2. Reconsidering the decision: If the appeal raises valid concerns that warrant a re-evaluation of the manuscript.
  3. Overturning the decision: If the appeal provides compelling evidence that the initial decision was flawed.
Complaints Process:
For complaints related to editorial misconduct, plagiarism, unethical behavior, or any other concerns about the journal’s policies or practices, individuals may submit a formal complaint to the editorial office at contact@risetpress.com. Complaints should include a detailed description of the issue and any supporting evidence.

Complaints Handling:
Complaints will be thoroughly investigated by the Editorial Board. The investigation process may involve contacting relevant parties and experts to gather information. The complainant will be informed about the progress of the investigation and the outcome.

Confidentiality:
All appeals and complaints will be treated with strict confidentiality. Information provided during the process will only be accessible to those directly involved in evaluating the appeal or addressing the complaint.

Our commitment to maintaining the integrity of the Jurnal Riset Multidisiplin dan Inovasi Teknologi includes a fair and transparent appeals and complaints process. We welcome feedback from all stakeholders and use it to continuously improve our publication practices and uphold the highest ethical standards.
